Women's Cross Country NCAA Preview

JHU looks to repeat as national champions.

ELSHA, ILL – The Johns Hopkins women’s cross country team will be in search of its second consecutive national championship and fifth in six years when the Blue Jays take the course on Saturday afternoon. JHU has made 11 straight appearances at the NCAA Tournament and are currently tied for third in Division III with four NCAA Titles. Only Cortland St. (7) and Middlebury (6) have more. Returning scorers from last year’s team include Felilcia Koerner, Natalia LaSpada, Ellie Clawson and Caroline Smith. Joining them this year are Tasha Freed, Rebecca Grusby, Lauren Jacob, Kristin Meek and Therese Olshanski.

This year’s race will be held on the campus of Principia College on the Principia College North Farm Cross Country Course. The race will begin at 12:15 pm.
