LANCASTER, PA - The Johns Hopkins women's cross country team had seven runners named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. Four seniors lead the way for the Blue Jays on the course and in the classroom.
Seniors Alexandra McMillan (Sayville, NJ/Upper Dublin, PA), Nadia McMillan (Sayville, NJ/Upper Dublin, PA), Mary O'Grady (Anchorage, AK/South Anchorage) and Mira Patel (Moraga, CA/Campolindo) were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. Patel, who was also named to the All-Centennial First Team, boasts a cumulative GPA of 3.44. Nadia McMillan was named to the All-Centennial Second Team and has a GPA of 3.65. Alexandra McMillan has a GPA of 3.66 and O'Grady boasts a GPA of 3.51.
Junior Chistina Valerio (West Milford, NJ/West Milford) has a cumulative GPA of 3.68. Sophomores Maggie Ashton (Action, MA/Acton-Boxborough) and Kathryn Baselice (Park Ridge, NJ/Academy of the Holy Angels) round out the seven runners. Ashton has a GPA of 3.50 and Baselice has a cumulative GPA of 4.00.
The Blue Jays return to action on November 14 at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships in Lehigh, PA.
