Eckstein Named Centennial Conference Co-Runner of the Week

LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins freshman Hannah Eckstein has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday.

Running in the first race of her collegiate career, Eckstein placed third overall and was the top Johns Hopkins' finisher at the 2011 Baltimore Metro Women's Cross Country Championships. Eckstein, who was beaten only by a pair of Division I runners in the field of 86 competitors, clocked in at 19:26.41.

Hopkins is back in action this weekend at the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen Invitational at the Union Canal Tunnel Park. The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 am.
