LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins runner junior Felicia Koerner has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her first-place performance in the Mustang Stampede it was announced today.
Koerner, who was named the Centennial Runner of the Year, earned her third-straight victory in the opening race of the season with a personal-best time of 14:37.4 in the 4K race. As a team, the Blue Jays won the event with 15 points as they claimed the top six spots in the meet.
Hopkins, which is ranked number one in the country, returns to action on September 15 at the Iona Meet of Champions. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
