BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's cross country team placed four runners in the top twenty and finished fourth out of nine teams at the Goucher College Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Hopkins finished the day with 92 points good for fourth place at the meet while York College of Pennsylvania captured the team title. Drew University finished second and the host Gophers finished third on the day, while Goucher's Fraley Coles captured the individual title.

Christine Medina's (Pasadena, CA/Maranatha) was the top finisher for the Blue Jays at the meet as she crossed the line in 27:27.71 for 13th place. Median's teammates were not far behind as Emma Hiza (Nottingham, NH/Phillips Exeter) finished the course in 27:38 for 16th place and Jacci Clauss (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) was 17th after completing the course in 27:42.53. Jessica Chin (Hong Kong, China/Phillips Exeter) rounded out Hopkins finishers in the top twenty as she crossed the line in 27:50.87 to place 19th.

The Blue Jays return to action on October 14th when they travel to Gettysburg, PA for the Gettysburg Invitational at 11 a.m.
