Cole Named Centennial Conference Player of the Week For Second Time This Year

LANCASTER, PA – Junior outside hitter Melissa Cole (Walnut, CA/Walnut) has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Cole also won the honor for the week of September 20.
Cole recorded three double-doubles to lead Hopkins to a 4-0 record last week, including conference wins against Franklin & Marshall and Muhlenberg. Cole averaged 3.84 kills per set, 4.3 digs per set, and had a .319 attack percentage for the week. She also added three solo blocks, five block assists and four service aces.
The Blue Jays, who have won four straight matches and stand at 14-11 (5-2 CC) on the year, travel to Bryn Mawr, PA on Saturday, October 23 for a pair of matches against Bryn Mawr and Delaware Valley.
