Final Stats

HAVERFORD, PA - The Johns Hopkins volleyball team picked up two wins Saturday afternoon as it defeated York and conference foe Haverford in Gooding Arena.

After dropping its first set to Haverford (14-6, 5-2), Hopkins (22-3, 5-1) roared back to take three-straight sets in a battle between first place conference teams.

The Blue Jays notched a fantastic .308 hitting percentage against the Fords, as Megan Cohan, Meagan Donohoe, Katie Schwarz and Jasmine Warmington each tallied at least 10 kills. Schwarz had her sixth double-double of the season, notching 10 kills and 13 digs.

The conference's leading hitter, Warmington, extended her lead even further as she registered 18 kills with a .516 hitting percentage. Mariel Metalios had 28 assists, while Amelia Thomas posted a match-high 18 digs for the Blue Jays.

Hopkins also defeated York in its second match of the afternoon in four sets, 21-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-20. More information to come as it becomes available.

The Blue Jays return to action at Dickinson on October 17 in Carlisle, PA.
