ALLENTOWN, PA -- Mariel Metalios dished 18 assists, Amelia Thomas posted 17 digs and Jasmine Warmington notched 13 kills as Johns Hopkins defeated Muhlenberg, 3-0, Friday night in Allentown, PA.

The Blue Jays won their second match in as many days to progress to a program-best 14-0 to start the 2012 season.

After controlling play in the first set, 25-17, Hopkins unleashed a .387 attacking percentage on the Mules (8-5) in the second frame. As a result, the Blue Jays cruised to a 25-9 second set victory.

Warmington, the Centennial Conference's leading attacker, then led Hopkins to complete the three-game sweep with a 25-22 victory in the final set.

Vanessa Pulice posted a match-high 24 assists for Muhlenberg, while Katherine Boll had 10 kills in the effort.

The Blue Jays play their third and fourth matches in three days tomorrow in St. Mary's, MD against Messiah and St. Mary's (MD). Hopkins can break the school's all-time consecutive wins record (15) with two wins tomorrow. The record was set last season.
