Johns Hopkins Women's Track Earns Academic Honors from USTFCCCA
NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Johns Hopkins women’s track team and seven individual members of the team have been honored by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for excellence in academics it was recently announced.
Collectively, the Blue Jay women’s indoor and outdoor track teams boasted a combined cumulative GPA of 3.44 to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition. A total of 183 women’s NCAA Division III teams were honored with this distinction, which required a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 for the year.
Individually, seven Johns Hopkins women’s track team members earned USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and must have met at least one of the following athletic standards:
• Competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship
• Finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top-35 in a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order List.
