BALTIMORE, MD - Three members of the Johns Hopkins women's track and field team have been honored by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) for their work in the classroom and on the track. Recent graduates Rachel Hogen (Tarzana, CA/ Harvard-Westlake), Jordan Ireton (Westborough, MA/ Westborough) and Paula Osborn (Albuquerque, NM/ St. Pius X) have been named to the USTFCCA 2009 Women's All-Academic Track and Field Team. In addition, Johns Hopkins earned team honors with a 3.36 team GPA.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met the NCAA Division III Indoor or Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event.

A total of 100 Division III programs made up the women's 2009 All-Academic Teams. The Centennial Conference, Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, University Athletic Association, and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference led all conferences with six teams selected from each conference as All-Academic Teams for 2009.
