LANCASTER, PA – Junior Ellie Clawson of the Johns Hopkins women’s track and field team has been named the Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week for her performance in the 10,000-meter run this past weekend at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.

Clawson finished fourth overall in the race with a time of 35:12.93, which is a new personal best time for the junior from Bellevue, WA. The time is currently the fastest in the Centennial Conference this season and fourth in the nation. The time is also the second fastest in the Mideast region.

The Blue Jays are back in action this weekend as most of the team will take part in the two-day Widener Invitational on April 20-21 while another group will head to the Larry Ellis Invitational on April 20.
