OSHKOSH, WI - Freshman Laura Paulsen competed in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon. The freshman's performance concludes the season for the Johns Hopkins women's track and field team.
Paulsen finished 18th in the 5,000 meters as she crossed the line with a time of 18:17.07. The race was won by Shauneen Garrahan of Amherest College. Garrahan crossed the line with a time of 16:49.54.
Paulsen will return to lead the Johns Hopkins cross country and track teams next year.
