GETTYSBURG, PA - The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team finished third at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Championship. Haverford won the meet after finishing with 215 points. Gettysburg and Hopkins rounded out the top three. The Bullets finished with 169 points while the Blue Jays finished with 132.5 points.

Chantel Priolo won the javelin throw with a 34.84m in the finals. Teammate Kathy Horn took fifth with a throw of 31.00m. Becky Lossing was sixth in the long jump with a 4.86m in the finals.

Anita Mikkilineni finished second in the 100-meter hurdles as she posted a time of 15.90. Mikkilineni also finished third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.60. Jordan Ireton took fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.75. Paula Osborn and Jessica Reeves each finished among the top six in th 100-meter dash. Osborn grabbed a second place finish with a time of 13.12 while Reeves' time of 13.57 was good for sixth place.

Kit Harris took fifth in the 800-meter dash after posting a time of 2:22.08. Osborn took fourth in the 200-meter dash after crossing the line in 26.61. Rachel Hogen and Laura Paulsen each finished in the top ten of the 1,500-meters. Hogen posted a 4:48.89 to take fifth place while Paulsen captured seventh place with a 4:54.71. Paulsen also added a third place finish in the 5,000-meters with a time of 18:11.42.

The 4x100 relay team of Mikkilineni, Reeves, Ireton and Osborn claimed a second place finish after crossing the line in 50.62. With a time of 4:07.30, the 4x400 relay team claimed second place. The relay team was composed of Osborn, Harris, Martina Dodd and Ireton.
 

 

The Blue Jays will wrap up their season at the Tuppney Invitational on Monday, May 12.
