SHIPPENSBURG, PA - The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team competed at the Paul Kaiser Track Classic hosted by Shippensburg University on Saturday. The meet was composed of athletes from the Division I and III levels of competition.

Sophomore Amarichi Onyima, who finished seventh in the shot put with a toss of 10.80m, led the Blue Jays. Freshman Mira Patel was 14th in the 800-meter run after crossing the line in 2:28.73. Allyson Seger was 23rd in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 5:23.59.

Freshman Erika Wheeler was 17th in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:14.36. Jessica Reeves was 13th in the high jump with a leap of 1.42m and 13th in the pole vault with a vault of 2.59m.

Hopkins returns to action on April 28th at the Shippensburg Invitational.
