The Basics
• Location: Towson, MD • Lewisburg, PA
• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women’s track and field team put together solid performances at both the Towson Invitational and Bucknell Bison Classic.

• The Blue Jays finished 10th of 18 teams, tallying 17 points.
Helen Girod finished fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.35m while Penny Li finished in ninth with a mark of 2.75m.
• In the discus, Mikayla Bisignani finished seventh with a throw of 38.80m.
Veronica Montane earned a third-place finish in the javelin with a mark of 40.00.
• The 1,500-meter run saw Kristin Meek finish in fifth with a time of 4:55.81 while Ava Kelley finished eighth with a time of 4:58.09.

Ellie Clawson earned a fourth-place finish in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 35:12.93, which is now the second-fastest time in the nation. Felicia Koerner finished in 16th with a time of 36:44.29.
Rebecca Grusby finished the 5k in 17:14.34 while Lauren Jacob finished the race in 17:21.75.
Shaina Palmer finished the 5K in 12th with a time of 18:39.16.
