TERRE HAUTE, IN - Junior Laura Paulsen of the Johns Hopkins women's indoor track & field team placed seventh in the one mile run at the NCAA Championships on Saturday at the Rose Hulman Institute.

Paulsen was tied for the best qualifying time from Friday's preliminaries to advance her to Saturday's final. Paulsen finished in 5:00.81.

The Junior also finished 11th in the country in the 5,000 meter at 17:30.69, beating out Centennial Conference rival Christa Johnson from Ursinus, who finished in 18:16.
