TERRE HAUTE, IN - Freshman Laura Paulsen finished tenth in the mile at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday. Paulsen ran a 5:03.07 in the final while the winning time of 4:49.38 was posted by Marcia Taddy of Wisconsin Platteville.
Paulsen had advanced to Saturday's final after winning her heat of the preliminaries on Friday. On Friday, she had posted a time of 4:59.73.
Paulsen and the Blue Jays are now off until March 24th when the outdoor track season begins with the Towson Invitational.
