• Location: New York, New York (The Armory)
• The Short Story: Maya Hammonds won the pentathlon as the Johns Hopkins women's track & field team completed day one of the ECAC Championships.

How it Happened
Maya Hammonds won the pentathlon with 3,290 points. She won the hurdles with a time of 9.17 and won the high jump with a mark of 1.61m. She finished eighth in the shot put with a mark of 7.83m and then won the long jump with a jump of 5.38m. She then earned a third-place finish in 800-meter run with a time of 2:36.41.
• In the pole vault, Sophia Cortazzo finished in third with a mark of 3.49m while Helen Girod finished in fourth with a mark of 3.35m.
