CHESTER, PA - The Johns Hopkins women's track and field competed at the Widener Pentathlon on Saturday afternoon in Chester, PA. The Blue Jays had several first place finishes on the day to highlight a strong showing in the competition.

Jessica Reeves had strong showing on the day for the Blue Jays capturing both the high jump and pole vault. She won the high jump with a pass of 1.50m and the pole vault with a leap of 2.74m. Reeves' teammate Becky Lossing placed third in the high jump by going 1.32m and winning the triple jump with a 9.53m.

Alison Grant and Reeves finished first and second in the 55m dash with times of 7.73 and 8.39 respectively. Hopkins took the top eight spots in the 3,000-meter run led by Mary O'Grady. O'Grady completed the race in a time of 10:58.1 for the win and was followed across the line by Alex McMillan with an 11:13.4.

Hopkins returns to action next on February 24th and 25th when it competes at the Centennial Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Haverford.
