HAVERFORD, PA - The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team competed at the Seamus McElligot Invitational hosted by Haverford on Saturday. Rachel Hogen's second place finish in the 3,000 meter run on Saturday, highlighted a strong day for the Blue Jays.

Hogen finished second in a time of 10:59.08 and was followed by freshman Alex McMillan who finished fourth in a time of 11:07.62.

Jessica Reeves had a strong day for the Blue Jays. Reeves finished third in the high jump with a leap of 1.42m and third in the pole vault with a vault of 2.75m. Erika Wheeler also had a strong day for Hopkins. Wheeler finished second in the long jump at 4.39m. She also finished 11th in the 200 meter dash.

Amarichi Oniyma was third in the shot put with a throw of 11.10m.

Hopkins returns to action on February 3rd at the Frank Colden Invitational to take place in Collegeville, PA.
