NEW YORK, NY - The Johns Hopkins women's indoor track and field team competed at the NYC Gotham Cup on Friday in New York City. The meet featured teams from both Division I and III.

Freshman Laura Paulsen continued her strong showing for the Blue Jays this year as she finished third in the 5,000 meter run. Paulsen finished the race in a time of 17:36.72, finishing only behind a pair of runners from Division I Princeton.

Freshman Nadia McMillan finished 15th in the one mile run, crossing the line in a time of 5:29.96. Sophomore Jordan Ireton finished 40th in the 400 meter dash in a time of 1:01.74.

The Blue Jays will be back in action on January 20th when they travel to the University of Maryland to compete in the Maryland Indoor Invitational.
