BALTIMORE, MD - Junior Brittany Matava (Denver, CO/Littleton) and sophomore Anita Bhamidipati (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township High School) were named First Team All-Centennial Conference in both singles and doubles on Tuesday as announced by the conference office.

Matava, a 2007 All-American, is the ninth player in the history of the conference to earn first team honors in three seasons. Currently ranked 15th in the Atlantic South region by the ITA, she boasts a 20-10 record at singles and is the just the second player in program history to win 20 or more matches in a single season. Matava holds the school record for career singles (55), doubles (44) and total wins (97).

Bhamidipati also earned first team singles and doubles honors in 2007. A 2007 All-American, she posts a 17-5 singles record so far this season. She and Matava are 13-4 in doubles, including a 7-0 mark in the Centennial Conference. Bhamidipati currently ranks fourth in career singles wins (38, ninth in career doubles wins (30) and fifth in total wins (68).
