Carlisle, PA - The Blue Jay women's tennis team won four singles matches and three doubles matches as Johns Hopkins posted a 7-2 win at Dickinson in Centennial Conference action Wednesday.

Hopkins, which improved to 5-2 overall and 5-1 in the league, won all three doubles points. Junior Michelle Liang (Rochester, NY/Brighton) and senior Cara Loeys (Surrey, England/American Community School) defeated Missy Sviatko and Amanda Kaplan 8-4 at No. 1 doubles, while freshman Priya Puri (Wayzata, MN/The Blake School) and sophomore Amanda Leese (Amherst, NH/Bishop Guertin) topped Erica Tobias and Calie Brennan 8-5 at No. 2.

Freshman Meghan Hasenauer (Weston, CT/Greens Farms Academy) and sophomore Jill Seidman (Arlington Heights, IL/Buffalo Grove) defeated Anne Kiely and Shaunna Shelman 8-3 at No. 3 to improve to 6-0 on the season.

Leese posted a 6-0, 6-4 win over Tobias at No. 2 singles, while Puri topped Brennan 6-0, 6-4 at No. 4. Loeys outlasted Kiely 6-0, 2-6, 11-9 at No. 5, while Hasenauer topped Aubrey Swift 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6. Sviatko defeated Liang 6-2, 7-6 (6) at No. 1 while Kaplan needed a third set tiebreaker to knock off freshman Becky Busch (Winnetka, IL/New Trier Township) 7-5, 2-6, 10-7 at No. 3 for the Red Devils, who fell to 7-8 overall and 4-4 in the conference.

Hopkins travels to Bryn Mawr Friday for a 3:30 p.m. match with the Owls.
