Genevieve Gramatica returns for her fourth season as assistant women's tennis coach at Johns Hopkins. Prior to her arrival at Johns Hopkins, Gramatica was a teaching professional at West Orange Tennis Club in New Jersey for eight years and gained coaching experience with advanced/tournament junior USTA players as the Assistant Director of the N.G. Tennis Academy. Gramatica graduated from Penn State University in 2005 with a major in science and a minor in health policy administration. As a collegiate player, she represented the Nittany Lions in both singles and doubles for the varsity women's team from 2000-03. As a junior competitor, Gramatica was ranked in the top 40 of the USTA Eastern Division. A four-year starter, she helped lead Newark Academy to Essex County and New Jersey state titles for four consecutive years (1996-99). Gramatica currently is the Assistant Director fo Tennis and elite teaching professional at Green Spring Racquet Club in Lutherville, MD. She is highly involved in coordinating USTA tennis leagues as the local league coordinator for GSRC. |
