BALTIMORE, MD -- The Johns Hopkins women's soccer game against The College of New Jersey, scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 at Homewood Field (4 pm) has been canceled. TCNJ was forced to postpone its New Jersey Athletic Conference game at William Paterson on Saturday (Oct. 17) due to unplayable field conditions and that game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 20.
With less than two weeks remaining in the regular season, there are no dates available to reschedule the game between the two nationally-ranked teams. Johns Hopkins is currently ranked ninth in the nation, while the Lions are ranked 18th. The game would have been the sixth of the year for the Blue Jays against a team ranked in the top 20.
Johns Hopkins (11-3, 6-1 CC) will return to action on Saturday, October 24 when the Blue Jays host Bryn Mawr (5-7-1, 0-6 CC) at 1 pm.
