Senior Natalie Held (Potomac, MD/Churchhill) opened the scoring in the 28th of the match. She picked up a loose ball and drilled a shot from the 18-yard box into the upper right corner of goal. This was the lone goal of the first half. Senior Karen Guszkowski (Sayreville, NJ/Cardinal McCarrick) made two saves and Cabrini's Gianna Porretta made five saves in the half.

The Blue Jays turned on the offense in the second half. Zazzali scored her first goal of the game just five minutes into the half. Hopkins scored the last goal of the day in the 87th minute. Moore dribbled in before hitting the side netting on the right side of the goal.
