BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins adds another shutout victory to the books with a 3-0 victory over McDaniel at Homewood Field. Erica Suter (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill) scored two goals and had an assist in the victory. The Blue Jays improve to 13-3 overall and 8-1 in the Centennial Conference and McDaniel falls to 4-12-1 overall and 3-6 in the conference.

Erin Stafford (Doylesttown, PA/Villa Joseph Marie) opened the scoring on a pass across the goalmouth from Erica Suter in the sixth minute of play. Just over a minute later Suter would slip the ball inside the left post off a Sara Tankard (Clarksville, MD/River Hill) cross.

Suter added her second goal of the game in the 58th minute on a perfect corner from Stafford. Suter has scored two goals in each of the last two games and three of the last four. She has ten points in the last two games. Suter has a team-high 10 goals and 23 points, while Stafford has a team-high eight assists on the season.

Hopkins totaled 40 shots in the game with 16 different Blue Jays recording a shot. McDaniel's senior goalkeeper, Leanne Hollinger, made 11 saves on the night.

Karen Guszkowski (Sayreville, NJ/Cardinal McCarrick) and Kristen Redsun (Trabuco Canyon, CA/Santa Margarita) split time in goal to combine for Hopkins' 11th shutout of the season.

The Blue Jay return to action on Saturday, October 31 when the travel to Ursinus. Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
