ST. MARY'S CITY, MD - Sophomore Allie Zazzali (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) scored the equalizer at 60:16 to tie St. Mary's College, 2-2, but Johns Hopkins was unable to break the draw through two overtime periods. No. 9 Johns Hopkins moves to 4-0-2 on the season, while St. Mary's slides to 4-0-2. The Blue Jays remain unbeaten in 2008.

Bridget McGovern of St. Mary's scored the first goal of the game at 11:17, before junior Caitlin Moore (Landisville, PA/Hempfield) tied the score at 1-1 with her first goal of the season at 17:44. Moore now has five points on the season.

St. Mary's Brianne Carroll put the Seahawks up one at 35:14 to head into halftime with a 2-1 lead.

Zazzali recorded her first points of the season as she scored Hopkins' second goal at 60:16 to tie the score in the second period. Hopkins emerged from a second overtime with its second tie of the season.

Junior goalkeeper Karen Guszkowski (Sayreville, NJ/ Cardinal McCarrick) notched a season-high 10 saves for the Blue Jays.

Hopkins return to action to kickoff its Centennial Conference schedule on Saturday, September 20 as it hosts Washington College. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
