Tim Witman enters his third season as a member of Leo Weil's coaching staff. In two seasons as an assistant he has helped guide the Blue Jays to a combined 37-5-4 record and trips to the NCAA Sweet 16 and Elite Eight.

Wittman was drafted out of Calvert Hall College High School in 1980 by the Baltimore Blast, a franchise of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). During his professional soccer career, Wittman was a three-time MISL all-star ('86, '89, '90), the Blast's most valuable player in the 1987-88 season, and was named to the Baltimore Blast's All-Decade team (1980-1990).

Wittman was a member of the Blast's 1983-84 championship team, an assistant coach for the 2003 MISL championship team and the head coach of the organization when they won their third MISL title in 2004. He played in 417 games for the Blast, scored 216 goals and recorded 114 assists in his career.

Wittman is also involved in the operation of a variety of youth soccer camps throughout the state of Maryland.
