2010 Women's Lacrosse Summer Camp Information

Little Jays Lacrosse Camp
Ages 6-12

Camp is held each evening, Monday thru Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm at Friends School
Session I: June 21-24
Session II: July 12-15
Session III: July 26-29

A lacrosse camp designed to teach and develop the fundamental skills of the game (throwing, catching, cradling, shooting, ground balls, offensive and defensive skills, confidence level improvement and feeding) in a fun, educational and confidence building atmosphere.

Hopkins Developmental Middle School Girl's Lacrosse Camp
6th-8th grade (rising sixth grader at end of the current school year)

Camp is held each evening, Monday thru Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm at Friends School
July 19-22

The camp offers middle school players the opportunity to improve their stick skills and conceptual understanding of the game of lacrosse through challenging drills, skill building activities and full field scrimmage play. This camp is dedicated to successfully transitioning the middle school player to the high school level.

Blue Jay Lacrosse Camp
8th-12 grade

June 29-July 1 at Johns Hopkins
Day or Overnight camp

The camp offers players the opportunity to learn contemporary, innovative skills and techniques and apply them in game situations. Camp will focus on improving stick skills, advanced and creative shooting techinques, dodging techniques, center draw play, midfield transition, defensive skills and tactics.

Hopkins Future Stars at Valley Forge
Rising 8th-12 grade
Day and overnight camp
July 30-August 1 at Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA

Campers will build self-confidence, improve on personal skill levels both offensively and defensively, gain further knowledge of the game of lacrosse, improve speed, agility and footwork, improve on and off the field communication with teammates, all while in a unique and beautiful setting on the Valley Forge Military Academy campus.

Blue Jay Break Out Individual & Team Camp

July 6-8; overnight at Johns Hopkins

The Premier Women's Lacrosse Camp, held on the campus of Johns Hopkins University and surrounding playing fields, showcasing advanced high school women's lacrosse players from across the country. The nation's finest collegiate lacrosse coaches from Division I, II & III participate throughout the three day camp as guest coaches and evaluators.
