Women's Lacrosse Announces Inaugural
Oct. 12, 2011 BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse team will join in the fight against Sarcoma this fall with the inaugural "Stick it to Sarcoma" Fall Play Day. Senior captain Rachel Ballatori, in honor of her father who is battling angiosarcoma, has rallied her teammates and coaches to raise money for the fight against the disease. Hopkins will be joined by Navy and Cincinnati in the special event at Homewood Field on Saturday, October 22. Tickets to the event are $3 and the first 25 fans will receive a free t-shirt. Fans will also receive a Sarcoma wrist band for every and any donation. In addition, there will be raffle tickets for sale with prizes including Ravens tickets, Hopkins gear and gift cards. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Hopkins Sarcoma Program. For more information, see the attached flyer.
