Johns Hopkins Women's Lacrosse Staff Announces Winter League & Clinic

BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse coach Janine Tucker announced the 2008 Johns Hopkins University Winter League and Clinic for Girls (high school players, grades 9th-12th). Guest College Coaches from area schools will offer their expertise. Johns Hopkins coaches and players, US team members, as well as Chris Endlich, professional strength & conditioning trainer, will serve as coaches for this year's winter clinic. The two-hour winter league & clinic features teaching for one hour and playing full-field games for one hour. The focus is on skills development and improvement, enhancing game sense, and breaking down offensive & defensive situations. The winter league and clinic is designed for players who are looking to polish their skills before the spring season starts. We will develop individual skills as well as improve team decision-making. Individual skills (catching, throwing, ground balls, stick tricks, dodging, 1v1 defense) as well as comprehensive team concepts will be taught in the clinic portion. Dates & Times:
