BALTIMORE, MD - A staple of the fall girl's lacrosse season will return for the 12th straight year as the Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse team will host the "Queen of the Turf" Tournament at Homewood Field on Sunday, October 21. The tournament will begin at noon and run until approximately 6:00 pm.

Under the direction of Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse coach Janine Tucker, the "Queen of the Turf" Tournament is an open tournament, however, players are required to have a minimum of 6-8 years of playing experience. A team must have a minimum of six players with a maximum of 10, and each team must have a goalie. Teams must register by Friday, October 7 ($500 registration fee) with checks payable to JHU Lax Events, LLC.

JHU will provide the championship and runner-up teams with prizes. In addition, there will be raffle prizes throughout the day.
