BALTIMORE, MD - Rising seniors Jess Buicko (Altamont, NY/Hotchkiss) and Amelia Harris (Clifton, VA/J.W. Robinson) have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Academic Honor Roll. The pair are two of 159 Division I student-athletes honored by the IWLCA for their work in the classroom.
Buicko made the switch from attack to goal prior to the 2008 season. She saw action in five games last season, posting a 4.39 goals against average and a .571 save percentage. Buicko boasts a 3.24 GPA as a biology major. Harris saw action in three games in the goal in 2008, finishing with a 7.95 goals against average and a .300 save percentage. A psychology major, she boasts a 3.32 GPA.
