2017: Played four games in rookie season and totaled one draw • made collegiate debut in season-opening win at American • controlled a draw in win over Furman.

Personal: Michelle Poirier • daughter of Gina and Marc Poirier • mother played tennis at Providence • brother, Brian, sailed at Georgetown • three-time class president • four-year class representative on student council • member of National Honor Society • volunteer with Best Buddies and served as president as a senior • volunteer for Special Olympics • initiated "Lax Buddies" -- an instructional lacrosse mini-camp for special needs children in North Andover • a Student Ambassador all four years • member of Interact Club • totaled 209 goals and 123 assists in four years despite missing part of junior season due to injury • led team to three Merrimack Valley Conference (MVC) Championships and three Massachusetts Division I North Championships • led to state semifinals as a sophomore and junior and finals as a senior • led team in goals, assists and points as a senior • two-time Nike Elite 120 selection • three-time first team all-league and Boston Globe All-Star selection • two-time US Lacrosse All-Academic team selection • twice named to EMGLCA All-Star Team • twice given team "Bulldog" award • co-captain as a senior • named ESPN-Boston MIAA First Team All-State and US Lacrosse All-American as a senior • played six years with Revolution Lacrosse • also played soccer • captained team as a senior • helped team to MVC Championship and Massachusetts Division 2 North semifinals as a junior • named MVC Division 2 All-Star and given team "Scarlet Knight" award as a senior • majoring in public health with a minor in marketing and communications.
