Women's Lacrosse



2017: Played in all 18 games • totaled five goals, three assists, eight points, four ground balls, three draws and five caused turnovers • finished with two points (1g, 1a) and two caused turnovers in win over Furman • notched an assist in win over Vanderbilt • scored in win over Michigan • scored and caused a turnover in win at Ohio State • notched an assist in win over Rutgers • scored twice in loss at top-ranked Maryland in Big Ten semifinals.

2016: Played 10 games and totaled two points (1g, 1a) • caused two turnovers and picked up two ground balls in win at Rutgers • picked up a ground ball in win over Hofstra • scored and handed out an assist in win over Furman.

2015: Played eight games in rookie season and scored two goals • made collegiate debut in double overtime win over Marquette • scored first career goal in win over American • caused a turnover in win at Furman and over UC Davis • scored and caused a turnover in win at Bucknell.

Personal: Maggie Friel • daughter of Andrew and Lori Friel • father played golf at LaSalle • mother played lacrosse at Chestnut Hill • named all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore • earned second team all-conference honors as a junior • totaled 43 goals and 51 draws while captaining team to 14-9 record as a senior • named team MVP, First Team US Lacrosse All-American, First Team All-Central League and First Team All-Main Line as a senior • played six years with Phantastix Lacrosse • also played field hockey and indoor track • school record holder in 300m • did six weeks of archaeological research in Romania • majoring in archaeology with a minor in marketing and advertising.
