BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins field hockey team placed 15 student-athletes on the 2011 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. In addition, Hopkins finished tied for fourth among all Division III teams with a 3.48 cumulative GPA. The 15 NFHCA Academic Squad honorees is one shy of the program record.

The NFHCA National Academic Squad recognizes those collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2011-12 academic year. Since 2001, Blue Jays have combined to earn All-Academic honors from the NFHCA 110 times. This marks the eighth straight year that Hopkins has earned the team award.
