Field Hockey



2016: Named Second Team All-Centennial Conference • started all 17 games in rookie season • totaled two goals and four assists for eight points • tied for team lead in assists and tied for third in points • scored game-tying goal in collegiate debut versus Washington & Lee • notched an assist in loss at 18th-ranked Rochester • scored in shutout of Notre Dame (MD) • had an assist and made a defensive save versus sixth-ranked Ursinus • notched assists in back-to-back games versus Bryn Mawr and McDaniel.

Personal: Katie McErlean • daughter of Joe and Cathy McErlean • father played football at Princeton • mother played field hockey at North Carolina • brother, Joseph, played lacrosse at St. Joseph's • brother, Sean, plays lacrosse at Widener • named Most Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore and Junior • led team to PAC-10 semifinals in each of her four years • guided team to district first round as a freshman and sophomore and semifinals as a junior • led team to first round of state tournament as a junior • three-time First Team All-PAC-10, two-time second team all-area • named first team all-area as a senior • two-time PAC-10 All-Academic Team • played four years with WC Eagles and led team to NIT Championship in 2016 • also played lacrosse and was named honorable mention all-area as a senior • Dean's List student majoring in materials science and engineering with a minor in Spanish.
