The Johns Hopkins men's and women's crew teams tied Washington College for the title at the 10th Annual Caspersen Cup held on March 29.
The Blue Jay men's varsity A four won its race in 7:52.04, finishing ahead of the Shoremen in 7:57.07 and St. John's (MD) in 8:09.14. The JHU women's pair followed by winning its race in 10:21.01 to defeat St. John's, which finished in 11:28.28.
Hopkins then won the men's varsity eight in the final race of the day. The Blue Jays finished in 7:16.98, ahead of Washington in 7:25.04 and St. John's in 8:12.54.
JHU finished second in the women's novice four in 9:00.55, second in the men's varsity B four in 8:06.89, third in the men's novice four in 9:07.91, and second in the women's varsity eight in 8:10.71.
