ANNAPOLIS, MD -
The Johns Hopkins men's and women's crew team won the Caspersen Cup at this past weekend's 12th annual race in Annapolis. The Blue Jays earned 33 points to edge defending champion Washington College (30 points) and host St. John's College (25 points).
This was the fourth outright Capersen Cup title for the Blue Jays, and the seventh time they have finished with at least a share of the title. Johns Hopkins won the cup in 1995, 2000, 2001 and 2005, and shared the cup with Washington in 1999, 2002 and 2003.
