Hopkins: Co-captain...will start at the power forward position this season and will be a key scorer for the Blue Jays...creates mismatches with strength in paint and shooting range on the outside...has a soft shooting touch around the basket with a scorer's mentalityruns the floor very well and has the size and strength to post up on the blockwas a key part to the Blue Jays' Centennial Conference championship run in 1998-99, contributing significant minutes off the bench. 1999-00: Played in all 27 games, making 26 starts and averaging 19.7 minutes per game...finished third on the team in scoring (7.9) and second in rebounding (6.5)...led the team in scoring in four games and grabbed a team-high in rebounds in four games...scored in double figures nine times and recorded double-digit rebounds in seven contests...registered two double-doubles on the year, both against Gettysburg, with 10 points and 12 rebounds (12/8) and 11 points and 10 rebounds (2/2)...set career-highs in a number of categories, including points per game, blocks, steals, rebounds, and field-goal percentage. 1998-99: Played in 27 of 28 games with three starts...finished fifth on the team in scoring (5.4 ppg) and second in rebounding (5.3 rpg)... tallied team-highs in rebounds in four games on the year...over last eight games, averaged 8.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game... recorded back-to-back double-doubles late in season with 13 points and 11 rebounds against Washington College and 10 points and 11 rebounds against Dickinson College. 1997-98: Saw minutes in 19 gamesscored 11 points and hauled in 15 rebounds.
