LANCASTER, PA - Junior Katie Biggart and senior Jenna Berninger of the Johns Hopkins women's basketball team received Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll accolades on Tuesday as announced by the league office in Lancaster, PA. The pair helped lead the Blue Jays to their first appearance in the Centennial Conference Tournament since 2006.

Biggart, a Darien, CT native, led the Blue Jays with 10 points, a career-high, against Carthage on November 29 in the McWilliams Classic. The junior started 18 of her 24 games played this season and averaged 1.8 points as the Blue Jays' starting point guard.

Berninger played in all 27 games for Hopkins this season and started 12. The Allentown, PA native averaged 2.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest, while shooting 72% from the free throw line. Berninger also made a pair of 3-pointers this season.

To be eligible for the Centennial Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have a 3.4 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or significant reserve.
