LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins women's basketball senior Lyndsay Burton has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for her play last week. Burton recorded three double-doubles in a 2-1 week for the Blue Jays with averages of 18.3 points and 12.7 rebounds per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the field.

Burton began the week with a 23-point, 10-rebound output in JHU's 57-56 loss at Washington College last Tuesday. She followed up that performance by tallying 16 points and 14 boards in the Blue Jays 48-37 win at Swarthmore on Thursday, before totaling 16 points and 14 rebounds in Saturday's 55-35 home victory over Haverford.

Burton has now notched six double-doubles on the year and is averaging team-highs of 15.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest.

Hopkins returns to action tonight for a Centennial Conference showdown against 20th-ranked Muhlenberg. Tip-off is slated for 6 pm in Goldfarb Gym.
