NEW ORLEANS, LA - Three runners from the Johns Hopkins men's cross-country team earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association for their performances at the Mideast Regional Championship last weekend. Senior Patrick Brandon (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) earned all-region honors for the second time in his career while junior Geoff Nunns (Danville, CA/Monte Vista) and freshman Steven Tobochnik (Kalamazoo, MI/Loy Norrix) earned all-region honors for the first time in their career. Tobochnik also earned first team freshman all-region honors.

Brandon took 13th place at last week's regional crossing the line with a time of 25:13. Tobochnik placed 33rd with a time of 25:55 to capture all-region honors and a spot on the freshman all-region team. Nunns was just three seconds behind Tobochnik at 25:58 to claim 34th place in the meet.

Brandon closes his Hopkins career by competing in the NCAA Championship meet on Saturday, November 17.
