NORTHFIELD, MN -- Johns Hopkins senior Patrick Brandon closed his career with an 86th-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships at St. Olaf College Saturday afternoon. Brandon was one of 56 individual entries in the race with 32 full teams also competing to fill the field of 280 runners.
Brandon went out strong and was in the top 50 at the one-mile mark as he went out in a time of 5:11. He maintained a pace around five minutes per mile and eventually closed with a time of 25:45.
