The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team finished eighth at the NCAA Mideast Regional with 240 points. Senior Geoff Nunns lead the Blue Jays, crossing the line at 26:24 for 30th place.
Junior Dave Sigmon finished in 32nd place with a time of 26:25. Sigmon and Nunns each received all-region honors. Freshman Brian Rooney finished in 26:49 for 45th place, earning all-freshman honors. Junior Graham Belton earned 66th place for his 27:11 race.
Freshman Mickey Borsellino finished the race in 27:13 to capture 67th place. Sophomore Steve Tobochnik, returning from a foot injury, earned 73rd place in a time of 27:18 and sophomore Derek Cheng came in at 28:00 for 115th place.
Carnegie Mellon won the regional with 37 points. Allegheny claimed second place with 73 points followed by Dickinson (86), Haverford (106), Elizabethtown (214), Gettysburg (216), Messiah (224) and Johns Hopkins (240).
