Johns Hopkins Finishes Third at Conference Championships

Centennial Championship Results in PDF Format
BALTIMORE, MD- The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team finished third at the Centennial Conference championship on a muddy course at Gettysburg. The third place finish ties the highest conference finish ever for the Blue Jays. Johns Hopkins finished with a total of 68 points, their lowest total ever in a Centennial Conference championship. Steve Tobochnik finished seventh (27:00.92) followed only ten seconds later by ninth place finisher, David Sigmon (27:10.47). Michael Yuan finished 17th (27:42.11), Brandon Hahn finished 20th (27:59.08) and Derek Cheng finished 23rd (28:03.81). Dickinson won the team championship placing the top four runners in the meet. Greg Leak finish first overall (26:30.71). Tobochnik will receive first team All-Centennial honors for his seventh place finish. Sigmon will receive second team honors. The Blue Jays return to action on November 14 at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.
