It's Haverford Again: Fords Take 13th Centennial Men's Cross Country Championship
Oct. 29, 2005 TIMONIUM, MD - Haverford placed six runners among the top 10, led by junior Ian Ramsey-North's first place finish to give the Fords their 13th straight Centennial Conference Men's Cross Country title at Oregon Ridge Park on Saturday. The Fords have taken the conference title in each season of Centennial Conference cross country, dating back to 1993. Haverford scored 19 points, doing so for the fourth time. The 2004 team set a conference championship record with 18 points. Behind Ramsey-North and his time of 25:38 in the 8k race, four other Fords placed in the top five. The 2004 individual champion, senior Will McGuire, finished eighth in the 2005 race. Dickinson took second, scoring 86 points. Leading the was for the Red Devils was junior Matt Liebal, who placed third with a time of 25:53. Senior Tom Rhodes finished sixth at 26:19. Rounding out the top ten was Johns Hopkins sophomore Patrick Brandon and McDaniel senior Paul Hugus, finishing ninth and tenth, respectively.
