The Johns Hopkins men's cross country squad traveled to Lancaster, Pa. to compete in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. Freshman Andrew Yen finished the course in 26:07.60 for third place out of 28 racers.
Junior Michael Yuan placed fourth in 26:27.40 and freshman Mark Lo Galbo ran a 26:47.90 to round of the top ten finishers. Freshman Brett Schwartz crossed the finish line in 26:53.50. A pack of five JHU men rounded out the top 20. Sophomore Nate Marrone earned 16th in 27:08.80, junior Rick Carrick ran a 27:10.60 for 17th, sophomore Andrew Barnett finished the course in 27:32.10 for 18th, freshman Shane Hart came in 19th with a 27:37.70 and freshman Peter Houlihan clocked in at 27:40.58 for 20th place. Freshman John Kelly ran the course in 27:58.40. Junior Drew Lefkof and freshman Paul Kintner finished in 25th and 26th in 28:20.10 and 28:40.70 respectively. Sophomore Dale Kreitler finished the race in 30:28.00 for 30th place.
The Blue Jays travel to Gettysburg on Saturday October 18 for the Gettysburg Invitational. The competition starts at 10 a.m.
