TOWSON, MD - The Johns Hopkins men's cross country team placed second at the Towson Invitational on Saturday at Oregon Ridge Park. The Blue Jays tallied 73 points to finish ahead of Maryland Eastern Shore (81), Loyola (Md.) (131), Morgan State (133), Delaware State (141) and Stevenson (151). Navy took first place with 18 points. 

Sophomore James Frick was the first Blue Jay to cross the finish line at 27:22.60 to capture 15th place. Freshman Nick Tyson placed 18th with a time of 27:34.64, followed closely by sophomore Josh Budman who secured 19th place with a time of 27:45.89. Rounding out the top five for Hopkins were Mark Lo Galbo, who finished 21st with a time of 28:01.35 and James Chuang, who placed 23rd at 28:06.34. 

Hopkins returns to action on Saturday October 9, as half the squad will travel to Orlando, Fl. for the Disney Classic, while the other half will compete at the Goucher Invitational in Towson, Md.
